Payment Risk Management Webinar 4-Part Series

Week 1:

Risk assessments can be a valuable tool to help your organization understand how to reduce risk in daily operations. While Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) has become a more common and established product, periodically reviewing your program and its risks and controls is an important part of your institution's overall compliance program. This session explores existing regulatory guidance, along with common findings from outside auditor observations while completing an RDC Risk Assessments in the field. This webinar is a great introduction if you've never completed an RDC Risk Assessment or if you're looking to update your existing one with new considerations.

Week 2:

This webinar will provide an overview of payments fraud including check fraud, among other types of fraud, with ideas for identifying and potentially preventing those types of fraud. The session includes a discussion of the Federal Financial Institution Examination Council (FFIEC) guidance for financial institution examiners including specific guidance on risk management. This session will wrap up with an overview of the FFIEC guidance for RDC risk management, and the Electronic Payments/ Retail Payments risk management.

Week 3:

In this webinar we'll discuss: Risk Appetite, the Roles Responsibilities and Structure of an Organizational Unit. We'll explore the Compliance Environment Impacts of Risk management, what Internal Policies Address Risk Types. You'll gain insight into Effective Procedures to Support your Risk Policies. We'll also explore the wonderful world of the Risk Regulatory Environment.

Week 4: 

In this webinar you'll hear about how Business Continuity Planning & FFIEC Guidance play into your Risk management plan. You'll be exposed to various types of Internal Controls, and what it means to have good audits standards & practices. What are good authentication methods and what you need to know when it comes to Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP). As well as, explore appropriate Operational Controls, Capital Adequacy, On Boarding, and a well planned Customer Identification Program (CIP).
