Associate Director of Education Services


Upper Midwest Automated Clearing House (UMACHA) is hiring a Director of Education Services to start immediately.  This person will report directly to the Director of Education.

Qualifications - Experience & Education

  • Public speaking/training
  • AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) or the ability to achieve this designation within 12-18 months of hiring, depending on exam schedule
  • Customer Service phone skills
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Proficiency with Power Point
  • Must possess valid driver’s license to travel independently across the region

Responsibilities ​​

  • Serve as one of the primary persons to answer member calls with rules based questions
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and programs for member financial institutions and other interested parties
  • Present programs, both in-person and webinar-based for members and non-members
  • Coordinate accreditation programs of the association

Physical Requirements

  • Travel (driving and flying) throughout MN and parts of the Midwest 25-40% of the year, utilizing rental vehicles; able to fly across the US for conferences and other association-related meeting
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in professional attire when facilitating sessions and when performing the admin duties
  • Must be able to speak for long periods of time and possess professional speaking abilities
