Customer Service - ACH/Wire Specialist

The ACH and Wire Specialist must have excellent Customer Service skills and 3-5 years banking experience with a focus on ACH & Wire. They work closely with customers, co-workers, and across departments. This requires that the incumbent have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

The position requires a self-starter with the ability to exercise independent judgement. The specialist will have a keen eye and strong attention-to-detail while entering and reviewing wire and ACH documentation. The incumbent will be organized, and can multi-task with a sense of urgency to ensure critical daily deadlines are met.

The ACH and Wire Specialist is the subject matter expert on all ACH and wire transactions. They will need to have a strong understanding of the ACH Network and be proficient in NACHA Operating Rules and Guidelines. The incumbent will also need a well-founded working knowledge of OFAC, and payments travel rules. They will need to think critically and understand the high potential of risk within the ACH and wire environment. The Specialist will be aware of possible Corporate Account Takeover, and will understand the processes and procedures designed to mitigate this risk. They will need the ability to solve problems in a quick an efficient manner, and be able to identify potential fraud or suspicious activity.
